In 2011, STI had a 4000sf CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) near our office inside the old track field. In 2012, we plan to double that to an 8000sf garden. Last year, the produce we grew was delicious! Everything was heirloom, non-genetically modified, and grown with organic methods. For 2012, we'll be accepting members and volunteers. Members get their share of the weekly harvest. Volunteers devote a few hours each week in return for their share of the harvest. We hope to also have a Georgetown location ready in 2012. If you'd like to buy a share in this non-profit garden or would like to volunteer for your share, please attend this info session.
When: Saturday, April 14, 2012 1-2pm No charge. |
