                      Clear Creek County food independence
This initiative will bring healthy produce to our county and help the county to have its own independent sources of food.

Other initiatives are for organic, non-gmo, grain production and organic mushroom cultivation.

"Non-gmo" means non-genetically modified organism.  In other words, the genetic structure hasn't been tampered with.

STI has a goal of building and operating several non-profit, organic, non-gmo greenhouses in Clear Creek County.  Some greenhouses will be geodesic like this 50ft dome.  Others will be made of recycled materials.

STI's small farm (or large garden)

                      Picture
STI has a garden inside of the track field just outside our office.  We are extremely grateful to the school district for allowing us to do this project and to the Recreation District (CCMRD) for an enabling grant.  All of the produce is being grown organically and nearly all from heirloom seeds.  None of it is genetically modified.
